MHRM6100+WEEK8

We are in the second stage of Tuckman's Group Development Model the Storming. We have definitely crossed the first stage of team building, the Forming stage. In the Storming stage, various ideas compete for consideration. The team members are in a comfortable situation to open up to each other and confront each other's ideas and perspectives. I had an opportunity to use my mobile phone as part of my course. We even used social sites like Facebook, Blogs to make friends with our team members. As a virtual team member, the social networking sites definitely supported us to form a friendship circle apart from the course. Yes, we will go through the different stages of Tuckman's Group Development Model by progressing to our next stage as a part of our course. As I am new to management and have never worked in a management capacity earlier, hence my views and contributions to my team's development in this aspect are limited.

MHRM6100+WEEK6

According to the Tuckman Team Stage model, we are still in the second Storming stage. We have crossed the first stage. As a Walden virtual class learning team, we are still developing , passing ideas and opinions across the discussions put on the table. Here our instructor guides us in new inputs and knowledge from different perspective. Also our difference in opinion and the ideas are taken well by other team members, which shows our open mindedness in growth of the team members. This motivate the learning aspiration of the team members.
